As a part of our continuing efforts to adjust to the unique challenges the COVID-19 pandemic brings and for the future, we have decided to create a new management position in order to provide our residents with more support. The new position is titled Wellness Program Manager, and the primary focuses of the role is the coordination of activities and events, as well as ensuring that Carlton House has a strong focus on wellness during the pandemic and beyond.
We are pleased to welcome Jamille Morrison as our new Wellness Program Manager. Jamille attended the University of Victoria, where she completed her degree in psychology and applied ethics. She is passionate about health and wellness and has a background in creating and implementing individualized programs designed to promote independence.
She is very familiar with Oak Bay as she grew up just down the street from Carlton House. Jamille is a certified yoga instructor, and loves to do yoga and meditation, as well as paint and go hiking with her rescue dog, Sylvie.
We understand the importance of having a good team of staff during these challenging times and we look forward to having Jamille on our side to help keep our residents healthy and happy. Welcome, Jamille!
