We are pleased to announce the staff and residents of Carlton House received their first vaccine on Friday, March 5th! It was a very joyous day, as everyone had been awaiting the vaccine for many months now, and were all very pleased that the day finally arrived.
We would like to thank the team of Island Health nurses, who worked hard to answer everyone’s questions and meet the needs of all of our staff and residents, all while running an efficient clinic.
This day truly gave us hope that the end of the pandemic could be near, although until then, our team and residents plan to stay vigilant with our current protocols of mask-wearing, social-distancing, and sanitizing.
