At Carlton House she has proven to be an effective communicator, patient and open and strives to do what is best for staff while balancing the needs of the organization. Well respected Rowena is hardworking, genuine and a pleasure to be around and most importantly she is valued by Carlton House residents,

As Program Director, Rowena arranges all of the theme dinners, receptions, special teas, and other social events … Rowena seems to know instinctively the type of outings that will most appeal to the residents, and these trips are always organized efficiently and with an eternally positive and optimistic spirit … Rowena combines her competence as a manager with a pleasant and agreeable personality. She always rises to the challenges of working in a retirement community. She is personable and friendly, and she has a great sense of humor. She listens patiently to the complaints and advice from the residents, even when we have forgotten we have been offering the same advice for the past few days. She simply smiles and reminds us that she has already solved the problem.
